Families are great!!

This morning I received flowers from David!! They are so pretty! I just love them! Thank you David!

Also, yesterday I went to visit my mom and aunt while Diego was at work and they had went to Kohl's 55% off sale and bought some cute neutral stuff for the baby.. and my mom got me a couple of books full of good information for me to read up on. Thanks Mom!!

#67. ~Week 4~ 5 Things I am Thankful For

1. Jennifer - Ahhh! We are getting older!! Jennifer celebrated her 25th birthday on December 14th. I hope you enjoyed your day! ♥ YOU!

2. Renison's Wii - Reno & Allison (Renison) bought themselves a Wii as their X-mas gift to each other.. which is awesome for us!! because they are the people we hang out with most!! I love that Wii! It's so much fun.. and it gets you off the couch!

3. Weekend with My Family - We got two spend to quality evenings with my family this past weekend. Started off with Jennifer's birthday dinner on Friday at Chili's, then Diego and I went with my family to watch the Texas vs. Texas State basketball game.. then to dinner at El Gallo. The game was good.. the food was even better!

4. Stephanie - Stephanie is celebrating her 25th birthday today! She is spending it in DC with her honey! I hope you have a good day Steph!

5. Tammy Tam Tam - Last night.. Tamara (a good friend of our, good friend Reno) & her boyfriend, Herd, came to the south side (she's a northie) and with them, they brought all kinds of good stuff!! Lasagane, Bread with pesto butter, Strawberries, Lottery tickets, Christmas Candy, lots of Wii games, and 2 Wiimotes! The Lasagne was AWESOME!! Everything was Awesome. 1..2..3.. Thanks Tamara!

#67. ~Week 3 ~ 5 Things I am Thankful For

1. Good Camping Weather - I was preparing for the cold.. expecting typical December weather.. but I guess I forgot that this is Texas.. and the weather is simply unpredictable! When we arrived at the camp site (according to my car temp) it was 84 degrees! Even after the sun had been down for some time.. I was still fine in a t-shirt. The wind did pick up later into the night which made it a little cooler.. but no lower than 70 I would say. So a light jacket was all that was needed. It was pretty much perfect. The only downer was the humidity.. which caused our blankets to feel a little wet.

2. James' Tents - James, Steph's boyfriend, offered to let us use his tent for our camping trip.. which was super nice and we really appreciated it..otherwise.. we would have slept in the Vue. Thanks James!

3. I got my tire fixed - I've been dealing with one my tires for about 2 months or so, it just keeps deflating.. and I'm lazy about getting stuff like that taken care of. Instead, I just spend 50-75 cents each week.. to air it back up. Since I knew we were going camping I figured I should get it fixed because I wasn't quite sure what kind of terrain we would be dealing with. So on Friday, I got it fixed. There was a nail in it.. but it's fixed.

4. Myspace - Or should I say Crackspace! because it's highly addicting.. However, I find it to be a great waster of time! Sometimes my job is pretty "blah".. so.. myspace is perfect BS tool!

5. Michelob Ultra - I used to drink beer.. but then I got over it. It just didn't taste good enough for me to consume all those carbs & calories! I know Mickey Ultra has been out for a while now.. but I tried it for the first time pretty recently and I have to say.. it doesn't taste too bad.. and it's low carb! I'm still not going to be a big beer drinker.. but now I have alternative to the fruity stuff!

#67. ~Week 2 ~ 5 Things I am Thankful For

1. Jackson - Who celebrated his 1st Birthday this week... He's growing like a weed and He's cute as button! I ♥ JJC!

2. TV Online - Sundays are always slow.. so TV Online is AWESOME!! Hey, I've done work too..

3. Christmas Lights - I love driving through neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights. Also, I got ours put up this week and I'm pretty happy about that!

4. Brandy's Happiness - She's my best friend.. and she seems to be pretty happy these days *wink, wink* I'm really glad that she finally has something to smile about! I'm excited for her!

5. Mall Massages - I have seen the massage people in the mall before.. but I've never really thought of getting one. On Friday, I did some Christmas shopping with Brandy and Melissa.. and Melissa (who works at the mall) gets them all the time. She decided to give me an early Christmas present.. and I got a massage in the mall... It felt great!

#67. ~Week 1~ 5 Things I am Thankful For

Since today is Thanksgiving.. and I am sitting here at work, instead of hanging out with my family. I will take this opportunity to think positively, and share the 5 things I am thankful for this week.

* Nice Flowing Traffic on the way to work - Since it was a holiday week... not to many people were out and about during my drives to work this week. Coming home was another story.

*Tweezers - I just appreciate a nice pair of tweezers!

*Football Season - I love to watch football.. As a kid, I would never have thought those words would come out of my mouth.. but.. it's true folks. I ♥ the Cowboys!

*My Mom - I am thankful for everything that my mom does for me. She is definitely my rock... I can turn to her with any and every problem that I have. She always knows what to say to make me feel better... annndd.. she promised to save me a plate of Thanksgiving Goodies!

* My Thanksgiving Day Co-Workers - It truly sucks to work on a holiday like Thanksgiving, when you know the majority of the United States.. is stuffing their faces.. and hanging with their loved ones.. but having my fellow co-workers here.. to chit chat and laugh with.. makes the day go by a little faster..

Having that said.. I can NOT wait to bust out of here at 4:30!!
