Boy Nursery

So we have decided on a nursery set in case it's a boy. This is actually what we had picked out last year when I was pregnant. After I lost the baby, there was a point when I looked at this bedding and thought, what the hell were we thinking.. I do not like that anymore. But, after looking around and seeing this over and over.. I like again. Although, I am still not crazy about the leopard print.. I think the animals are really cute. We originally saw it at USA baby.. but my new favorite store, BBBaby, also carries it... so, we will probably end up getting it from there. I plan on making the room look much better than it is here in this picture!

I have a new favorite store! Buy Buy Baby.. which is owned by Bed Bath& Beyond. The store just opened on Brodie next to Bed Bath & Beyond. I love it. It has a lot of stuff that Target and Babies R Us have.. but they just have a bigger selection in the store. When you walk in, it looks exactly like BBBeyond, except it's all baby! PLUS, they have those awesome 20% off coupon that BBBeyond is famous for! I can't wait to start getting those in the mail.

As always.. I'm a few steps ahead. I started a registry at BRU a while back, just keep track things that I like.. but, I'm growing tired of BRU. Nothing is standing out to me there anymore.. they never change up their selection! So, I decided to ditch that registry (that was the only place I was planning on registering!) and I started a new one at BBBaby. I have a crap load of stuff on there. One pink version, one blue/green version of everything. Soon, I'll be able to cut that list in half!! (Can't wait.. only 5 more weeks!)

I'm also going to register at Target, I wasn't going to because of their crappy return policy, but I know all my peeps do not live south.. and I don't want to put anyone out.

Doc Appointment

I went to my doctor's appointment yesterday.. and I heard the heartbeat! YAY! That was pretty neat. I've been eating whatever I want the past few weeks.. Dan's, Pei Wei.. pretty much whatever sounds good that day. So I was really nervous to get on the scale.. but, I was pleasantly surprised.. I lost 2 pounds! However, my blood pressure is still high. Bummer. I now have to take bp medication.. monitor my bp, and.. I have to do a 24 hour urine screening! Doesn't that sound fun? For 24 hours, I have to carry my pee jug with me. She is checking to make sure my kidneys are ok, to rule that out as a reason for my bp being high. I see her again in 2 weeks. Anyway.. that's about all my appointment consisted of.. until next time.

Typos. Ugh.

I just went back and read some of my older posts.. and even the one I just posted.. doesn't matter how many times I proof read a post, before posting.. it never fails. Err!!

Fat Chance

What are the chances I will look like this at the end of my pregnancy?!?

I will be standing in my sister-in-laws wedding 8 days before my due date.. and I want to look this pretty! I'm sure I will be a swollen mess! Seriously though, I'm just hoping to make it to the wedding, regardless of what I look like. I'm praying that I do not go into labor the day before or the day of. I will be very upset. If it comes down to it, I may request to be induced to keep this from happening.

Ever since my cousin, Brad, brought up having a St. Patrick's Day baby.. that's been kinda stuck in my brain. I would really love that! Especially, since my husband is big Notre Dame fan. SPD, is 4 days after the wedding.. so I don't know, it's all up in the air.. only time will tell.

Inside the Oven

Today we got another peek inside the oven.. and our bun seems to be baking quite nicely! I went today for my NT scan.. I won't know the results for about a week, hopefully everything is all good.

Nursery Ideas

I found 2 different nursery ideas that I really liked. One for a girl, and one for a boy. The one for a girl.. I found at Pottery Barn, a few years ago actually.. and always hoped it would still be there when I was ready to buy for my baby girl. (fingers crossed.. ;) shh don't tell Diego) It is still there, and I do still plan on getting it.. because Diego also likes it.

The one for a boy.. I found not too long ago online. I tried to find a store that carried it, but it seemed as though it was an online only type of thing. Until! I found it at USA baby online... I called the Austin store and they said that they did have a display of it. I was really excited, because I was not too thrilled on buying something online, not really knowing what it would end up looking like. So, this evening.. Diego and I went to USA baby to check it out. Disappointment! It looked so cheap! So the search is on for more boy bedding!

Nesting..

I want everything clean.. right now! Nothing is clean enough or organized enough. Specifically the closets! I have been working on the one in the babies room, slowly but surely I am finding a new place for stuff and throwing stuff away. I bought bins and tubs and it's coming together nicely. I have plenty of time do this type of stuff.. but, for some reason, it needs to be done now. now. now! Honestly, I am just ready to fill that damn room with baby stuff from floor to ceiling. Soo can't wait to work on the nursery! Just need to find out what I'm having.. which won't be for another month and half or more.. bummer.
