Felecia's Bridal Shower

Felecia, the office manager at Austin Medical Assoc., is getting married!! Her and her Fiance, Cliff, are going to the Florida Keys to exchange vows in a private ceremony on the beach. Which is so fitting for the two of them! This past Saturday, Sandy threw her a bridal shower... It is always a blast to hang out with these girls.. I always have a good time! Congrats Felecia!

March Madness Update

No good news here. Looks like I won't be winning jack this year. besides the fact that my teams are doing extremely sucky.. we tried out a new way of scoring,which we now realize once a leader pulls a out in front of everyone.. there's a slim chance of catching back up. So, my bracket is trash as far as I'm concerned.
BOO!!

Oh well.. Now I'm just pulling for the Horns!!

Ring Update!

So, I can finally ditch that fake hunk of junk I've been wearing!! I'm back in business! My mom's boss was VERY awesome and took my mom's engagement ring to her jeweler, all the way in Houston, to get the ring sized to fit me. The jeweler does really great cheap work.. I put it on my finger for the first time last Wednesday and I am so happy! I totally love it! Even though it's not the original ring I loved so much.. It is the ring my daddy bought my mom.. so it this is very special to me. I love it!

PS. I am getting this thing insured ASAP!! :)

March Madness

This is one of my favorite times of the year!! It's March Madness!!
For the past 7 or 8 years.. I've been playing in the NCAA Men's Basketball bracket challenge thing.. I don't know what you wanna call it. It started with my Aunt and her friends and over the years the number of players has grown. I like it because it's so competative! Everyone puts in $10 and we end up with a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winner!

I'm always nervous about making my picks because it's so unpredictable!! I always wanna do really good. I've never come in 1st place, but I have come in 2nd a few times. Actually, last year I came in 2nd.

I just finalized my picks and I hope I win money again this year!

#79- Attend Atleast One Concert Per Year

Diego, Chubbs, Joey and I went to see Spoon on Auditorim Shores last Thursday! It was a damn good show.. we all rocked out and had a damn good time.



On Saturday, we went out again and saw Ice Cube.. we got there a little late.. and didn't stay for the whole show.. but it was good as well!

One of the Worst Feelings..

..is seeing this in your rear view mirror.



This morning I was driving David's truck to work, Diego was in front me in the Vue because the Altima is currently out of order. Anyway, We hadn't gotten out of the neighborhood yet.. when I see police lights in the rear view mirror. I was like "Whhhaatt?" I'm not speeding!! So I pull over.. and the officer comes to the window.. and says.. I pulled you over because you ran that stop sign.

UGH! I hadn't even thought of that!! probably because I never think about the stop signs in our neighborhood. I generally do more of a pause & roll.. than a stop and go. I do usually keep an eye out for cops though.. I blame the time change! I didn't see this particular cop because it's so dark in the mornings now! I don't know where he was sitting.. probably in front of my face!!

I was a little more nervous, because I was not in MY car... I was thinking oh great!! he's gonna give me shit for driving someone elses car. I just explained that it was my brother in laws vehicle.. and that he is in Iraq.. yes,I said Iraq.. for the sympathy factor! haha jk.. Iraq was just what came out of my mouth. The officer gave me no trouble.

Anyway.. the nice officer ran the plates and my ID.. gave my info back and told me to be more aware of my stops signs and to have a good day!! I said YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!! and I drove off!!!

Thank GOD for no ticket!!!*knocking on wood*

Pop Tarts!

I was begining to get tired on my every morning instant oatmeal.. So I decided to go to the vending machine and get a pop tart! I put my 90 cents in the machine, the coils turned and my pop tart fell out.. the coils kept turning.. and another pop tart dropped.. and then the last pop tart dropped.. I got the entire row! To bad there weren't more left in the machine! I could have walked away with 10 pop tarts!!

#23 - Netflix Movie

Batman Begins

I have had this movie for a while now, finally Diego and I had a chance to watch it. Diego isn't a big fan of movies like this.. but he did like this movie.. and so did I! I was entertained from the start! Now I gotta see The Dark Knight.. hopefully, I can watch it without be consumed by thoughts of Heath Ledger death.
