Three Hour Tour

We woke up bright and early, thanks to a certain little somebody :)
That was ok though, we had stuff to do.. so better to get up and get going!

We had breakfast at McDonald's in Times Square,
and then we caught our first cab!

We took a tour of New York, by water. We were expecting to take the 2 hour tour, but we would have had to wait an hour before setting sail, so we decided to just take the 3 hour one that left sooner. I loved the boat ride, it was a neat way to see everything with out making a million stops. Sure, we would have liked to get off at the Statue of Liberty and maybe a few other places.. but, we were good with what we got. By the end, the camera died and were pretty ready to get off the boat.

I left my sunglasses in the room,
and on this boat ride.. sunglasses were an absolute must!
Luckily, there was a bike store near by that had these seriously dorky glasses!

Just a Tuesday morning in New York, business as usual.

Tour Guide Fact: this is the biggest clock in the world,
the second hand jumps 3 feet every minute.

Rebuilding of the Twin Towers.

Diego's new camera has great zoom.
This building was quite small and far away, as you can see in the above picture.

Lady Liberty, right before my very eyes..

Once we got off the boat, we grabbed a cab and headed back to the room. We, along with our cameras needed some recharging. We ate a pizza joint near by and then headed out for the afternoon portion of day 2.
