DC Site Seeing Day

On our first full day in DC/VA, Stephanie had school so we dropped her off and battled the DC freeways. It was a little scary, and I made some wrong turns, but eventually we made our way to all of our destinations.

First we stopped by the Pentagon, but really there isn't all that much to see there.. so we made that a quick stop. Then off to the Arlington Cemetery. (pics from the cemetery will be in a separate post)

After lunch, we drove around, for what seemed like forever, trying to find a place to park. We finally parked along the Potomac River. We walked around and saw all the monuments. After walking through the cemetery and then to all the monuments.. it seemed like we'd been walking all day! We were ready to go back to the house and chill.. and that's just what we did.
