Ten

1. It's been a few weeks since I've done this.. because, I really have not had all that much to say!

2. Soo... I guess, the most major thing that has gone down in our lives is Cash's first "surgery". It wasn't exactly surgery.. but, he did get put under and cut open.. so in my opinion that qualifies as surgery. To read more on that.. visit Diego's blog.

3. The first year we moved in our house, we worked hard on our yard. We planted 3 trees and built a big flower bed in the back yard. We planted 2 pretty good sized Silver Maple trees and a very small Arizona Ash. As the years went on we noticed that one of the Silver Maples had some kind of fungus looking stuff at the base. We knew this was probably not a good thing. The healthy Maple tree out grew the infected one by leaps and bounds. Diego has always said this tree was not going to last very long. Early this morning, I stood with Cash in the door way looking out at the rain in our back yard and thought to myself.. that poor tree is just not going to grow anymore. The day went on and I was getting ready to go to the grocery store, I was sitting on the couch putting my shoes on and happened to look up, out the window and this was the what I saw: So sad..

4. Before Cash was born, I bought him a "big boy" car seat.. it's actually for babies 5 lbs to like 50 or something. It's not the carrying car seat kind.. so, I just planned on using it once he got bigger and I didn't need to carry him around in the car seat anymore. Well, Cash hates his car seat.. he cries every time he gets put in it.. if he doesn't cry right away, give it a minute or two. This makes taking him to the store a real pain in the ass. Sometimes he can be soothed with a bottle or pacifier but, he can't hold his own bottle so you have to push with one hand and hold the bottle with the other or prop the bottle up.. anyway, like I said.. pain in the ass. My first solution to this was to use the sling, but he is way to heavy now and my back can't take it. So, my newest idea... is this: Bust out the new car seat and see if he likes it.. and use the Bumbo since he can't sit up in the cart yet.

Verdict: Still is not a fan of the car seat.. but, the Bumbo works great! Only thing is I have less room for groceries, but who cares.. I need to spend less anyway!

5. When Cash is in his Bumbo, in the cart.. we get a lot of attention! People always look and chuckle, point and say look at him.. or just smile at us. I wonder if they are thinking.. Cute baby or what a clever mother? I'm thinking a little bit of both ;)

6. When mom gets bored.. we have "photo shoots". You never know what your going to get during these sessions!

7. I've been told I should not put bath/naked pictures of my child online.. but, the "naked" pictures are sweet newborn pictures, not child porn for god sake! I don't see a problem with bathtub pictures either.. I'm not exposing him! Cash loves his bath.. and loves to splash in the water! He's getting so big! Here's him splashing around..

Pictures taken in our bathroom always come out with terrible lighting so..
I went with black and white on this one

8. Yesterday, I arrived at work.. and was getting all my stuff together. My hands were full and I had no more room for my drink. I decided it would be a good idea to set my drink inside my purse. (which I have actually done before with no problems) This time.. the S.O.B tipped over. I had no idea until I got to my desk, put my stuff down and realized my purse was now a river of sweet tea. I had stuff in there that should not have gotten wet! I was pissed. I had of course my wallet and make up bag. My iPod, which thankfully was in the side pocket and was not harmed. My camera, which thankfully was in it's case.. it did get wet but not ruined. I had 2 Netflix DVD's in there.. which were soaked. I carefully took the DVD's out of the soggy envelopes which still tore all to hell. I let those dry out and I taped them back together.. needless to say, they looked extremely ghetto! Also, I had some baby magazines, coupons and other paper items, which included Brad's car registration that we received in the mail.. sorry b-rad!!! If you don't read this tonight, you'll find out tomorrow when I hand you a tea soaked envelope. Oh yeah, the point of the story. My phone ended up being the only real casualty. At first it was working, I took it apart and attempted dried it out.. when I put it back together, it came on.. sizzled for a few seconds and turned off.. Whoops! Guess that means I get an iPhone now. Shucks! Trust, I will be so much more aware from now on!

8. Cash is 16 weeks now, which passes as 4 months. 4 months means solid food! I've been reading a lot of baby stuff about introducing solid foods.. and when to know when your baby is ready. Cash started showing signs of this earlier in the week, so I thought what the heck.. let's give this rice cereal a whirl. He wasn't really very into it. He took a few bites and wasted most of it.. but, I've also read that's normal. Here's a picture right before his first "solid" food experience.

9. Sheesh, it's already 5 o'clock! Diego just got home.. time to go!!

10. Everybody have a happy and safe 4th of July!! I'll be spending mine at work :( Missing my child first fireworks.. BOO!

Great pictures, I love that boy! :)

Oh and weird how when you ruin your phone you can get an iPhone but when mine broke I had to get a $20 Walmart phone. You only used the $20 phone for a while before getting a new phone (Which you drowned). Sucka.

If I'm correct, and I know that I am... You're phone didn't just break, you broke it on purpose.. Sucka!
