Hill Country Flyer

Last Saturday, My mom, Aunts, Diego, Cash & I took a trip to Burnet on the Hill Country Flyer. Cash is obsessed with trains.. so he was all about it. I had no clue what the train ride was going to be like, but it turned out to be pretty good.. aside from the fact the HCF didn't really go through any hill country. We mostly stayed close to the road and held up traffic. Lol. It would have been better if the city of Burnet had more to offer.. since it's such a small town, there really wasn't much to do once we got there. We ate lunch, walked around a little bit.. and got back on the train and came home. The most eventful part was the grouchy old ladies stirring up a fuss over the seating arrangement. Luckily, we avoided that mess. I seriously never knew old ladies could be so mean and hateful! That's another story though. Here are some pictures from the day.

I know it's only mid September, but I've got the Halloween bug.. thanks to Pinterest! So, what the heck.. I decided to put out all my new stuff. I haven't even dug out all the stuff from the attic yet! ;)

Daniels Wedding

Last Friday we went to our friends Reno & Allison's wedding! The wedding was at the Oasis.. and eventhough it was a gloomy day here in Austin, it was still a super fun time. I always love to see everybody in their dress up clothes!

Ready for Halloween

I'm not sure why, but this year I am really looking forward to decorating the house for Halloween!  Already getting some things together :)

 I must always have tissue paper roses, this time in a mummy vase. So super easy to make!

Allison's Bridal Shower

I hosted a bridal shower for my dear friend, Allison, this weekend. Even though I was running around like a crazy person that morning, it turned out to be a complete success. I recieved tons of compliments!

Blue Bell Factory

On our way home from Galveston, we stopped in Brenham. We had lunch before heading over to the Blue Bell Factory. That was a neat experience, with a yummy treat at the end. :) 

Galveston Trip

 It was raining when we got to Galveston, so we did some inside activities until it cleared up.

First stop was the Rainforest Cafe.

 Afterwards we went to Moody Gardens, the Aquarium Pyramid

  When we left the aquarium, the sun was out.

We went to The Strand while we waited to check into our room.

 Gift Shop

 Once we got settled into our room. We put on our bathing suits and hit the beach!

Day 2, we hit the beach again. We spent most of the day there, and then came back for showers and naps!

 After everyone napped for a few hours, we headed over to Bubba Gumps for some seafood.

 That was his cheeeese face! He was super excited about his ice cream. Silly kid.

This is just another random funny picture that didn't turn out good.. but, Cash's face is hilarious!

Fun trip! We'll have to do it again next year :)
