Cash and I got a little artsy this week. Monday he made this:

Saturday Evening Disc Golf

We didn't have anything going on Saturday evening, so Diego suggested we go to Mary Moore Searight Park. He wanted to play disc golf, and Cash & I just wanted to get out of the house. It was hot as crap outside, and Cash was not into walking 18 holes. I ended up carring him most of the way... and that was not fun. I did take these pictures while we were there.

Pool Time

We have tried going to our swimming pool twice this week, and both times it's been closed. I have no idea what's going on. After getting us all packed up and ready for the pool, it's pretty disappointing to just go back home.. so I drove to another neighborhood in hopes of getting into their pool. We did get in, and it was so cool! The water was 1 ft deep, which was great.. and Cash had a blast getting sprayed by the water. We were the only ones there.. and we had a good time splashing around together.

 He found this pink lizard at the pool, he just had to take it.

Wreaths

I made this one for my Mom..

and this one for our bedroom, Diego says it doesn't look finished.

..but, that's just how I wanted it. ;)

 

Busted.

 The first time was kinda cute and kinda funny.

"Aww.. he's brushing his teeth on his own."

The second time, I was pretty pissed. Although, it was my fault for leaving him alone.  I let him eat his snack in his play room, while I cleaned up the kitchen.. I come back to a toothpaste covered bathroom.You can't tell exactly how much toothpaste was wasted, but his legs and hands are covered, the mirror and counter.

My Mom and aunts got a load of dirt to spread on their yard,

and of course the Cash Monster had to come over and play in it.

Bartholomew Park

Back in the day, my Mom would take me and my cousins swimming at Bartholomew Pool. Fast forward, 20 years (Wow!) and here I am taking my son there too. Sadly, the pool is shut down and covered in graffiti but, the park is still in full swing. Diego played disc golf, while Cash and I played at the park. I was grossed out by somethings I saw going on at this park, so chances are we won't be going back.
