We took an adults only trip to the beach with our friends, Brandy & Chris. I was feeling extremely guilty about leaving baby boy behind, but it was much needed and way over due. We'll take him to the beach later on this summer. We promise! I worked from home Tuesday night, and ended up not sleeping a wink! I may have dozed off.. but, it wasn't for much time at all. My body was relaxed, but my brain would not shut off! Anyway, my alarm rang at 6am, and I woke Diego up.. we layed in bed for a minute, then we were up and at it. We packed up the car and when our friends got to our house we headed out. I've never driven six hours before, my longest drive was always Dallas. I've also never driven any amount of hours on zero sleep... but, I think I did just fine. I never felt tired once! We got to the beach around 1ish? 2ish? Can't even remember. (Maybe I was sleep driving.. lol) Our condo was so cute! I loved it. It was actually on the same street we stayed on last time.. last time when Cash was in my belly!
You have to stop at McDonald's at least once!
The good thing about sun glasses, is that you don't even have to look at the camera!
Chris, you gotta get low!
Cute!
After we unloaded our stuff, we made some fruity drinks and headed to the beach!
The following days went something like this...
wake up, eat, make a drink, chill on the porch, go to the beach, eat, make a drink, sit on the porch, go to the beach, take a shower, eat, walk on the beach, make a drink, relax on the porch, sleep. Repeat.
On the last night, a storm rolled through.. we were expecting some sort of hurricane.
Nah, just some wind and a few splashes of rain.
The morning we left we went to the Turtle Rescue Center, the turtles were super cute.
Then we took one last walk on the beach... wahhh!
We stopped in San Antonio for an early dinner, we had totally forgotten that Fiesta was going on. Talk about a mad house! We really should have just come home.. but, I don't think any of us were in a hurry to get back to reality.
It was a nice relaxing time away, but I was super happy to be back with my boy!
