Discouraged

Our house has been on the market now for 3 weeks, in the past week we have had a lot of activity.. but, most of the feed back comes back the same.. "Nice house, but not for my client." The more people that come by, and say no.. the more I feel like yeah.. I totally understand. I wouldn't buy this house either.. oh, wait. I did buy this house.. why did we do that? ohh yeah, because we were kids and we had no idea what we wanted in a house, and the builder pretty much gave us this house. So here we are.. stuck in a house that one else wants! We don't necessarily need to sell this house, we just want to.. and the more I see other houses that I like, that more anxious I am to get out of here!

I wasn't feeling all that discouraged until another house in the neighborhood popped up for sale a few days ago. It's really nice, and they were selling for dirt cheap! I knew someone would buy that house before ours.. and sure enough, this morning when I checked.. it was pending sale.ugggghhhh... I guess it's good that, that house is out of the way, but that's just another buyer gone.

I was hoping we could sell as is.. but, looks like we might have to make some improvements. First stop, making our walls a neutral color again. We may even have to remove the carpet from the bedrooms... don't know yet. Hopefully, the right folks will come a long and scoop it up before we have to go there.

In a story that mirrored much of my own... my cousin gave birth to her baby boy yesterday via c-section. He weighed 6.15 oz and was 19 3/4 long! Welcome to the world Joshua!
