Trip to Cabela's

Cabela's is 5 minutes from our house, but we never go there. We are not hunters or fishers so we never have a reason to really go there. Saturday, was yucky! Cold and rainy. Weather you'd normally want to stay in the house for.. but, not us. We are weird like that.. I was feeling so cooped up, I wanted to go somewhere! We were headed to Wal-Mart and I thought, let's stop in at Cabela's and let Cash check out the animals.

The picture wasn't able to capture exactly how silly his hair was on Sunday.. It was Flock of Seagulls meets Ace Venture, only on one side!

Oh, and Cash finally feeds himself!

At the beginning of last week, I said.. Cash you have to start being a little bit more independent! By the end of this week let's master feeding yourself. He did not let me down. It really only took until about Wednesday for him to eat the whole meal by himself. That means no more baby food!! We'll finish up what we have, and wipe our hands of all that baby food! Yay for big boys!

PS: Him being able to use his pointer finger and thumb to pick up objects like food.. also comes with a down side. Cat litter. Oh, the joys of having indoor cats and kids.

10 Months

This boy is 10 months.. very soon he will be turning 1. Turning 1 means, birthday party! Yay! I love, love hosting parties. With the holidays over, I have shifted. My brain is now completely wrapped up in birthday party planning. I'm up to my neck in ribbon, streamers, balloons, and candy!

Saturday was Cash's 10 month birthday.. we were busy running errands and completely forgot that it was the 8th. Luckily though, I took 2 minutes for a quick photo op! I was happy that I did this later on when I realized it was the 8th!

Not sure why, but I love his face on this one!
