#45 - Cooking For My Friends

We played host to a few friends today to watch the
~Cowboys vs. Packers~
Which was only seen on NFL network.. which our cable actually provides!!

I decided to make the ol' stand by:
Spicy Alfredo Chicken & Broccoli with Texas Toast
Cookie Brownies & Lemon Bars for dessert

The food turned out great =0}
(If I must say so myself!!!)

And the Cowboys Won!!

So it was a Great Night!
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

#23 - Watch One Netflix Movie per Week.

Factory Girl

I must say it was little bit weird, but then again it's the story of a girl (Edie Sedgwick) who was involved with Andy Worhol.. so weird was to be expected. Overall, I would say it was pretty good movie!

#22 - Clean the Fish Tank

Let me just start out by saying.. I ♥ my fish.. but they are the dirtiest fish on the planet. To me, cleaning their tank is one of the biggest hassles! I always seem to put it off as long as possible.. by the time I clean it, it usually looks something like this:




Sooo.. Yucky! Poor Fish..
I'm sure they hate swimming in a pitcher for an hour but I'm also sure that they love coming back home to this:



Ahhh.. Much Better!

I've kept these 3 fish alive for 3 whole years! and I need to be better about keeping their quality of life up to par! I'm a bad fish mom!

#2 - Organize Extra Closet

Yesterday after work, I decided that I would go forward with another task.. and straighten up the extra closet. Boy did it need it! The reason it's soo messy is because in October, I got in there and dug out my Halloween decorations! That, of course.. caused everything on top to come crashing down! Take a look for yourself!



haha! it's kind of embarrassing! :) I bet you would never guess that underneath all of this.. you would find my wedding dress.. a set of drums.. a guitar case.. a cd turny thing with about 100 empty cd cases.. a 19 inch TV.. and yes.. a pink inflatable penis from my bachelorette party!!

But look at it now! I even made room for the vacuum cleaner!



Let's see how long it lasts :)

#87- No Luck This Year

#87 on my list was to go to the Christmas tree farm, and cut down our own Christmas tree with Erica & Jerry. Our plan was to go Sunday, the 25th.. but due to the yucky weather.. we were not going to be able to go... and the next weekend was already booked with little Jackson's birthday party.. So Diego and I just went to the neighborhood Home Depot to pick out a tree. It was a little bit more expensive than the Christmas tree farm.. but it was a lot less work.. and a lot closer to home! So, all-in-all it worked out and there's always next year!

#67. ~Week 1~ 5 Things I am Thankful For

Since today is Thanksgiving.. and I am sitting here at work, instead of hanging out with my family. I will take this opportunity to think positively, and share the 5 things I am thankful for this week.

* Nice Flowing Traffic on the way to work - Since it was a holiday week... not to many people were out and about during my drives to work this week. Coming home was another story.

*Tweezers - I just appreciate a nice pair of tweezers!

*Football Season - I love to watch football.. As a kid, I would never have thought those words would come out of my mouth.. but.. it's true folks. I ♥ the Cowboys!

*My Mom - I am thankful for everything that my mom does for me. She is definitely my rock... I can turn to her with any and every problem that I have. She always knows what to say to make me feel better... annndd.. she promised to save me a plate of Thanksgiving Goodies!

* My Thanksgiving Day Co-Workers - It truly sucks to work on a holiday like Thanksgiving, when you know the majority of the United States.. is stuffing their faces.. and hanging with their loved ones.. but having my fellow co-workers here.. to chit chat and laugh with.. makes the day go by a little faster..

Having that said.. I can NOT wait to bust out of here at 4:30!!

#47 - Dressed Up

Yesterday, my best friend from 4th grade, Kimberly, got married! So of course.. that means dust off the dress shoes, it's time to get dressed up! Now, I am not opposed to getting dressed up... I actually like it! It makes me feel... well.. Like a GIRL! :) I just don't get to many opportunities to get dressed up. So my goal is to get dressed up 2 times a year.. One down.. One to Go!
