SATC: The Movie

I finally saw the movie... boy was it a roller coaster of emotions! I won't ruin it for those who have not seen it... but, I will say that I was satisfied with the ending of the show.. and the movie kinda changed my opinion of certain people.


I am going to catch up on few other movies and then I am going to start my next TV show marathon. I am going to stay with the HBO series and rent all 5 seasons of Six Feet Under. After that, I might go with the Sopranos..

Sex and the City

I finally finished my summer Sex and the City marathon.. it was a fabulous ride! I'm really glad that I started watching it. I was going to be pretty annoyed if they left Carrie in Paris with the Russian.. I didn't like him at all.. he was creepy, but of course... everything worked out and she ended up with Big. I do like Big, but after everything.. I really wish she had ended up with Adian, he was a better guy than Big. Even more exciting, I am soo glad that Samantha settled down with Smith. Smith turned out to be one of my favorite characters because he was a nice guy.. and he put up with all of Samantha's crap. I wasn't a huge fan of Charlotte or Miranda, I liked their characters.. but not their story lines to much. Sept 23rd.. the movie comes to DVD. Then I will be completely up to date :D

#90 - Rent watch all 6 seasons of Sex and the City

I had planned on starting this at the beginning of the year, so that I would be finished by the time to the movie came out.. but at the beginnig of the year, I started my part time job and never got around to it. Last week, I moved all six seasons (which is about 20 dvds) to the top of my netflix list. I recieved and finished the first disc over the weekend.. and I am patiently waiting for disc 2. I should get it today and be finished by the end of the weekend. I guess I will just try to finish the dvds by the time the movie comes to dvd.

Batman Begins

I have had this movie for a while now, finally Diego and I had a chance to watch it. Diego isn't a big fan of movies like this.. but he did like this movie.. and so did I! I was entertained from the start! Now I gotta see The Dark Knight.. hopefully, I can watch it without be consumed by thoughts of Heath Ledger death.

There's Barley Time to Sleep!

Geez! It's been a while since I even logged into blogger.. I've forgotten what to do! Since I've started my part time job at Alfred Angelo.. it seems I barley have time to sleep! I wake up.. go to work.. go to work #2.. get home.. watch one televison show to unwind and go to sleep.. Wake up and repeat!

So needless to say, I haven't a lot of time to complete much on my list for January. I didn't try a new restaurant.. or have my friends over for a cooked meal.. or sweep weekly.. but I did.. watch a few movies..

I thought it was pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of Dane Cook or Jessica Alba..

but I was entertained. I'd buy it if was in the $5.99 bin at Wal-Mart :)

What else have I done....

I printed some of our wedding pictures.. and put them in frames.. but I have not hung the frames!! I've really been dragging my feet on this project.

I'm having a few problems:

1. I want to paint the hall before I hang the pictures.. and painting sucks.

2. We haven't decided a color yet..

3. We need more picture frames..

4. and more pictures (but which pictures?!? there are so many!)

5. We want to mix mirriors with the frames.. to bring some light into the hall way.. But we have not bought any mirrors!

So.. until I get motivated on that.. the already framed pictures will be lining the hall way..

on the floor!

Oh I attempted to frame some of Jackson's pictures.. but they came out small.. So I just hung them on the fridge instead!

The Simpson's Movie

I really.. really.. enjoyed this movie!! I am not a huge Simpon's fan, but I used to watch it when I was a kid. I didn't really know what to expect from the movie.. but I went in with an open mind, and I was quite entertained. I didn't fall asleep which says a alot!!

In the Land of Woman

I would give this movie a thumbs down.. because it's depressing. I mean, let's face it.. the only reason I wanted to see this movie is because I love Seth Cohen! (Adam Brody) The characters are likable but the movie just doesn't really go anywhere..

Hairspray

I liked this movie.. once I got passed the singing. I know it's a musical.. but it seemed that there was a LOT of music. I saw the Ricki Lake version a long time ago.. but I didn't really remember much about it. Overall, I would say it was pretty good.

Factory Girl

I must say it was little bit weird, but then again it's the story of a girl (Edie Sedgwick) who was involved with Andy Worhol.. so weird was to be expected. Overall, I would say it was pretty good movie!
