On The Market

Well, our house is officially on the market. I'm not all that pleased with the pictures on the website. I don't think they make the house look very good. Oh well, here goes nothing. Fingers crossed!

Today's Project

Everyday I've been doing little things to get the house ready. Sunday, my mom, aunt and I busted butt around here.. and the house is looking great. Now, I'm just getting all the last minute things taken care of. I painted these pictures today to hang on the wall in place of buying more stuff.

The Greatest Show on Earth

Last Friday we went to the circus. Cash and I were super excited about going, Diego was too.. but he knew there would be a lot of walking. That's not really his thing these days. We were so excited that we got there way too early! We wanted to see the animals, mainly the elephants, up close before the show.. and we did. But, there really wasn't much to it. After we left the animal area.. we headed inside.. or so we thought. They wouldn't let us in! We waited in line, in the hot.. hot sun.. that was not fun at all.

When we got inside, we got to go down on the floor until the show started. The clowns were out, and the guys were walking around on stilts.. it was cool, but we'll skip it next time.

Let the Staging Begin

So it's official.. we are putting our house on the market. Hopefully we can have the house in order by September first. We have accumulated a ton of stuff that we just don't need.. or haven't used in forever. Sooo.... I'm putting on my organizer boots and getting to work. First stop.. closets. If you need me, I'll be knee deep in pile of junk :)

Lyla Turns Seven

My cousin, Jennifer's step-daughter, Lyla turns seven this month. We celebrated her birthday with a pool party! Pool parties are right up Cash's alley! He always has a blast in the water.

Texas State Aquarium

Sunday morning we woke up and checked out of the hotel. We drove over to Corpus Christi and went to the Texas State Aquarium. It was not great.. but we did see a dolphin show which was neat for Cash.

Weekend Trip to the Beach

We spent the past weekend at the beach in Port Aransas, with my mom & aunt. Diego was supposed to go, but with him not being able to submerge his foot/leg in water.. there wasn't much for him to do.. so he stayed home. It was a fun weekend, but we wish Diego was there.

We got to the hotel before our room was ready,

so we walked on the beach until they said we could go up

They finally let us into our room, so we put on our bathing suits and went back down to the beach for a little while.

Later on, we cleaned up and went to dinner.. and walked around to a few stores.

Saturday, we spent some time at the beach and the swimming pool..

Then we had dinner at Moby Dick's.

After dinner, we went and walked around by the edge of the water.. and saw lots of boats!
